Canopy NWA plans to offer a virtual summer program for ESL students throughout June and July. Each student will be matched with a mentor who will be trained in guiding activities designed to promote digital literacy skills and English language retention. The format will include weekly individualized and group Zoom meetings geared around student interests. In addition to literacy and computer skills, Canopy will offer case management support including connection to home WiFi and navigating food access options. Hi families! Just a reminder that talent show submissions are due today. The full video will be posted to Springdale School’s YouTube channel and shared here on Friday. All family members are welcome to participate. We have seen some really great talents already, from karate to piano duets. IMPORTANT INFORMATION! AMI packet #3 and student belonging pickup will be THIS Thursday from 8:30-3:00. Please enter the front parking lot and follow the K and siblings pick up line. You will stay in your car and tell us names. Bags with student belongings and the last AMI packet will be placed on a table. One person will get out of your car and grab them. There will also be drop off for any library books and completed AMI packets - please make sure your child's name and teacher are listed at the top before turning in. We miss our students and families and hope to see you tomorrow for lunch pick-up at JOK!
