Don Tyson School of Innovation honored veterans with a celebratory assembly. The celebration featured patriotic performances by the Symphonic Band, Chamber Choir, and Phoenix Dance Academy as well as student literary works and keynote speakers Commander Michael Schutz and Lt. Governor Tim Griffin. Our #PhoenixFam is grateful to all who have served and continue to serve!

Students, families, and community members are invited to attend our Veterans Day Celebration on November 10th.
Many of our #PhoenixFam 8th graders recently attended the "We The People" exhibit at Crystal Bridges. They were able to see an original copy of the U.S. Constitution, along with other important documents associated with our country's history.
Make sure to have your smiling faces ready for picture day, #PhoenixFam!
#PhoenixFam student works will be showcased at the DeathRay Illustration & Print Expo! DTSOI students from graphic design and art classes collaborated with the library maker studio to create unique prints for sale at the expo. Shop their pieces and the works of local creatives Saturday, Oct. 29th 11am-6pm on Mount Sequoyah. Entry is free for students and $5 for others.
Walmart and Kellogg’s today presented the Don Tyson School of Innovation cross-country and track programs with a $25,000 grant! The grant may be used to create a running path for students so they don’t have to training along Hylton Road and Don Tyson Parkway. #SpringdaleFamily
Springdale Schools interviewed five Don Tyson School of Innovation students today for paid instructional assistant intern positions in our elementary schools. The students had to apply, create a resume and participate in an interview with a panel of principals. #SpringdaleFamily

Don Tyson School of Innovation offered the 2nd Annual Trade and Industry Education Day today in the parking lot and Industrial Maintenance and Welding labs. About 1,000 NWA students attended the event to learn more about industry and DTSOI opportunities! #SpringdaleFamily
