Today is Giving Tuesday and DTSOI is giving back to the community! Teachers, students and community members donated blood today to the American Red Cross. Thank you to everyone who participated like our Power Donor, Mrs. Harrison! We will be having our spring drive in March. Plan to attend!

Please remember that Springdale School District will be practicing remote learning November 30 - December 4. Students will follow the remote learning schedule. VIA students will follow their normal schedule.

A few of our 6th grade students had the opportunity to join a VIA 5th grade class as guest speakers this morning. The 6th graders couldn't wait to provide insightful details and answer questions about their DTSOI experience.

DTSOI Students and Har-Ber Swim & Dive team members, Bryce Coulter and Lauren Thorne competed against the Bulldogs of Springdale this past Monday. Coulter swam the 200 free for the first time and broke the 2 min barrier finishing 4th. He also finished 2nd in the 100 free inching closer to the state qualifying time. His efforts brought the team within 4 points of winning the competition. Thorne also swam the 200 free for the first time and finished 2nd. She then competed in the 50 free and finished 7th. Both of these swimmers will continue to train for the next competition on Nov. 14th at the Jones Center.
